We set up a short phone call so we can discuss the property and its selling points.
I'll give you and the homeowner a list of recommendations for preparing the property so we can show it off at its best.
Time to relax for a couple of days--your part is done. I'll shoot the photos and video, edit them, and send you a link.
I help realtors find and highlight the features unique to each property so that your listings–whether they’re suburban, rural, agricultural, or commercial–attract the right buyers.
Over the last 30 years, I’ve shot photos all around the world, and I’ve always been fascinated with how buildings and architecture fit into their natural landscapes.
In 2002, I relocated to the four-state area and immediately fell in love with this part of the country–from the farmland plains of Kansas to the Ozarks of Missouri and Arkansas to Oklahoma’s Green Country.
Discovering aerial photography opened up a whole new way of looking at the world that’s given me a new appreciation for the relationship between our homes and their natural environment.
Two years ago, I left my full time job to pursue real estate photography. I love showing off the local land and how a farm fits into its surroundings, or how a cabin in the mountains hides in a stand of oaks, or how peaceful an ordinary home looks nestled on a quiet suburban street.
As a realtor, you know how important homes are in our lives. I want to help you showcase the unique features of each of your listings so that you can find the right buyers.
I will schedule the photo shoot in the next available space in my calendar (usually within a week), but I may reschedule if we have bad weather. After all, we want to show off the bright sunshine and blue skies for your listing!
Once I’ve completed the shoot, I will usually have completed photos to you within 2 business days. Video shoots will require 1-2 extra days.
Many photographers are generalists who shoot real estate in addition to weddings, seniors, landscapes, and lots of other styles. I’m focused exclusively on real estate marketing, meaning I can give your listings the specific focus they deserve.
You can certainly do that. But, photos shot on a phone or with a handheld camera tend to have unusual angles and strange, slightly off colors. These things aren’t difficult to fix, but if you don’t do it regularly it will take longer and be incredibly frustrating.
As a professional, I’m used to shooting houses quickly and fixing the most common photo issues. As a result, I can get significantly better photos in not much more time. You can spend that time working on the listing, reaching out to prospective buyers, or just hanging out with your family.
Facebook, Instagram, even TikTok and YouTube are all valuable marketing platforms for the 21st Century realtor. But each of these has different requirements for file sizes, image shapes, and video settings. My images are prepared with social media use in mind. But, I also supply higher resolution files that are great for print and other legacy media.
It’s your choice, of course. But, it might be better to spend a few hundred dollars on marketing to sell a house quickly than to have to drop the price several thousand dollars after it sits unsold for several months.
I am licensed by the FAA under Part 107 as a commercial drone pilot, so I’m legally allowed to fly a drone and shoot photos for commercial use.
I also carry liability insurance that specifically covers drone accidents—something not available to operators flying illegally.
All my images are licensed for unlimited commercial reuse with modification. This means you’re free to use the images on the web, on social media, in print, and in your own promotional materials–both for this listing and for your real estate business in general.
